நடிகர் சிவகார்த்திகேயன் பிப்ரவரி மாதம் 17 ஆம் தேதி 1985 ஆம் வருடம் சிவகங்கை அருகே உள்ள சிங்கம்புநேரி என்னும் கிராமத்தில் போலீஸ் அதிகாரி தாஸ் மற்றும் ராஜேஸ்வரி என்பவர்களுக்கு மகனாக பிறந்தார். சிவகார்த்திகேயனுக்கு ஒரு தங்கை அவர் இப்போது திருச்சியில் டாக்டராக பணிபுரிகிறார் . சிவகார்த்திகேயன் தனது பள்ளி படிப்பை திருச்சியில் உள்ள Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary யில் முடித்தார். தனது Computer Enginering மற்றும் MBA கல்லூரி படிப்பை JJ Collge of Engineering யில் முடித்தார் . இவர் ஆகஸ்ட் 27 2010 ல் தனது மாமா மகள் ஆர்த்தியை மணந்து கொண்டார். இவர்களுக்கு ஆராதனா என்னும் ஒரு பெண் குழந்தை அக்டோபர் 22 2013 ல் பிறந்தது .

Sivakarthikeyan was born on 17th February 1985 in Sivagangai near Singampunari, Tamil Nadu. He completed his school life in Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School, in Tiruchirappalli and he completed his B.E,M.B.A degree in JJ College of Engineering. He is a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Masters Degree in Business administration. During his school days he participated in cultural programs, mimicry, film spoofs, dramas etc. He had no plans to enter films or Tv shows, his friends forced him to attend an audition for "Kalakka Povathu Yaaru", to his surprise he won the game show. Sivakarthikeyan appeared in several short films like Mugapputhagam, Kurahl 786 and Identity etc. He started his career with reality show named Kalakka Povathu Yaaru aired on STAR Vijay. Later he hosted Adhu Idhu Edhu show on Vijay TV. He made his movie debut with Marina in 2012 opposite Oviya. His major breakthrough in his acting was with Ethir Neechal in 2013 alongside Priya Anand and Nandita. His subsequent film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam in 2013 starring Sathyaraj, Sri Divya and Soori. Sivakarthikeyan received Vijay Entertainer of the year Awards 2014 for his applauding success in 2013 with three consecutive successful films.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan was a bit disappointed over his film ‘Kakki Sattai’ directed by Durai Senthikumar opting out of the Pongal race.The actor Sivakarthikeyan next film ‘Rajini Murugan’ with director Ponram who ensured him a blockbuster with ‘Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam’ is fast progressing. Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthi Suresh and Parotta Soori are playing the lead roles.The film was launched in early 2014. The first schedule of this Sivakarthikeyan Keerthi Suresh and Soori starrer is already over. The second schedule of the shoot is going to commence on 21st of Jan 2015.In this film stars Rajkiran and Samuthirakani in important roles. D. Imman compose the music. Balasubramanian as the cameraman. The film ‘Kakki Sattai’ can be expected to release anytime in February 2015.
